This Request for Quotations (“the RFQ”) issued by the City of Grande Prairie (the “City”) is an invitation to submit non-binding offers for the provision of Supply of Two (2) New 35’ Low-Floor, Urban-Design Transit Buses as further described in Appendix C, for the Rates established in Appendix B. The respondent selected pursuant to this RFQ process will be informed in writing. Respondents not selected will also be informed in writing.
The vehicle described must be of a 35 foot, diesel-powered, low-floor, urban-design kneeling type “Transit” bus. The Bus must be designed to operate under normal service conditions for at least sixteen (16) years.
This specification is intended to cover the supply of one or more vehicles suitable for transporting, loading and unloading individuals, including persons using wheelchairs, in the Grande Prairie area. All vehicles must comply with the Canada Motor Vehicle Standards (CMVSS) requirements contained in Federal Regulation. |
