Description: 

The City is intending to purchase the Priority Dispatch Emergency Police Dispatch program, a nationally recognized, protocol-based system that standardizes call assessment and prioritization for police dispatch. This program will be used in the new Public Safety Communications Centre which is scheduled to be operational in September 2026. Training for this program is required to start in June 2026.
The City is currently utilizing the Fire Dispatch program developed by Priority Dispatch, which has the same training requirements required.
