The City of Grande Prairie (the “City”) is requesting detailed and comprehensive proposals from qualified and experienced Engineering Consulting firms to provide road condition assessments. The successful proponent (the “Consultant”) will provide services for the collection, conversion and entry of roughness, surface distress and deflection data into the existing RoadMatrix^TM system. It is the expectation that proponents have a full understanding and complete familiarity with the data configuration requirements and limitations to load the collected field data in the RoadMatrix^TM system. Approximately one third of the City’s road network will be tested annually for three (3) years beginning in the summer of 2025. This data will be entered into the pavement management system and then used to assess the current condition and future needs of the City’s road network. An annual report summarizing the present state of the City’s road network will also be submitted as part of the final submission each year for the Road Condition Assessment & Pavement Management System Update.
